The Bubble Guppies theme song

The theme song is preceded by an introduction from the show's hosts, Molly and Gil, who say: "Hi, it's me, Molly, and it's time for—" and "It's time for Bubble Guppies!". The Little Fish also breaks the fourth wall by saying the title of the show to the audience.

The opening animation was changed during Season 2, and the theme song was updated to match. Here are the lyrics to the Season 1-4 opening theme:

> All: Bub-bub-bubble, Gup-gup-guppies!

> Gil, Goby, and Nonny: Bubble, bubble, bubble!

> Molly, Deema, and Oona: Guppy, guppy, guppies!

> All: Bubble Guppies!

> Bubble Puppy: Arf, arf!

> Molly and Gil: Bubble Puppy!

> All: Bub-bub-bubble, Gup-gup-guppies!

> Molly, Oona, and Deema: Bubble, bubble, bubble!

> Gil, Goby, and Nonny: Guppy, guppy, guppies!

> Molly and Gil: (clap clap)

> All: Bubble Guppies!!

> Molly and Gil: (clap clap)

> All: Bubble Guppies!!

The Season 5-6 opening theme features similar lyrics with the addition of Zooli:

> All: Bub Bub Bubble Gup Gup Guppies

> Boys: Bubble Bubble Bubble

> Girls: Guppies Guppies Guppies

> All: Bubble Guppies!

> Bubble Puppy: Arf, arf!

> Bub-bub-bubble, Gup-gup-guppies!

Songs with Gil in the background

Gil, a silly and energetic male guppy, is one of the protagonists of Bubble Guppies. He is also the co-host of the show, alongside Molly, who is his best friend.

Gil's musical abilities are similar to the other guppies in the show. He has mastered the three primary instruments common to the Bubble Guppies series: vocals, guitar, and drums. In Season 1, Gil played both acoustic and electric guitars. He played the drums only twice: at a concert and in a pop song. In later episodes, he went back to playing electric guitar during the pop song segments.

Gil has appeared in every episode, and has been a main character in thirty-seven episodes, making him the first guppy to have the most appearances as a main character. He is the only guppy to appear in every pop song.

"Bubble Pop Song" (also known as "My Favorite Song")

This song is from the episode "Space Guppies!". It was written by Chip Whitewood and Elizabeth Ashley Saunig. In this song, Gil joins Molly in singing about how the song makes you feel good and how it's playing everywhere.

"We Totally Rock!"

In this song, Gil plays the electric guitar, as seen in the episode "We Totally Rock!".

"Big Warm Friendly Smile" (pop song from the episode "A Tooth on the Looth")

Gil plays the drums in this pop song.

"Only the Sphinx Nose!" and "Bubble Duckies!"

In these episodes, Gil goes back to playing electric guitar during the pop song segments.

Gil's singing voice has changed and gone higher since Season 1, and he has done many dance songs and pop songs in Season 2.

Songs with Nonny in the background

Nonny is a brainy, shy, cautious, and overly calm male guppy in the Bubble Guppies series. He is the most polite and mature member of the group, and the least likely to get swept up in the action. Nonny is also the quietest of the Guppies and usually only speaks when answering a question. He is also the least likely to sing out of all the Guppies, and usually only appears in the background when singing. However, there are a few songs where Nonny has a more prominent role.

In the episode "Can You Dig It?", Nonny sings a solo called "He Found It!". He also has a full solo in "The Puppy And The Ring", called the "Cavern Realm Song". Nonny also sings a few pop and dance songs, including "She's Mean" from Season 2, and "Hear That Engine Roar!" from the UK version of the show. In Season 6, he sings a full-length song.

Nonny has also been shown to play instruments in multiple songs, usually the keyboard. In "Puppy Love!", he plays the tambourine, and in "The Puppy And The Ring", he plays the guitar and piano. He also plays the violin in "The Unidentified Flying Orchestra!".

Nonny has been a background dancer in many episodes, although his dance skills are not as good as the other Guppies. For example, in "The Wizard of Oz-tralia!", he dances with the others to the Dingo song. He also does the robot in the song "Check It Out!".

She is a talented musician, often playing the keyboard or tambourine, and is always cheerful when it comes to music. Deema has a powerful singing voice and has sung her own songs in Season 1 and Season 3. She also sings background vocals in many songs. Here are some songs from Bubble Guppies that feature Deema in the background:

  • "Big Bubble City": Deema sang this song in Season 1, showcasing her powerful vocals.
  • "Flutter Guppies Realm Song": In Season 3, Deema sang this song alongside Oona, another main character in the show.
