Flexible schedule: we can potentially offer you as many or as few hours and clients as you'd like. Some of our tutors work just a few hours per week, and some work nearly full time.

We generally pay between $20-$30 per hour depending on experience, location, and a few other factors.

Working one-on-one with students requires immense patience. You have to learn to adapt your teaching and classes to suit different learning styles and various curriculum. You will need to spend some of your off-hours preparing for the upcoming classes and sessions.
Prepare lessons, and assign and correct homework. Prepare and correct tests. Evaluate students' progress and discuss the results with students and/or their parents. Identify students' individual learning needs.
Your day-to-day duties as a Tutor will include: Teaching mixed ability pupils. Using a variety of teaching methods and developing individual structured teaching plans, tailored to the pupil's needs and learning styles. Preparing and maintaining equipment and resources and assisting pupils in their use.

However, you should have a great amount of knowledge in the subject area you plan to teach – ideally you should be a graduate in the area.
