15 Nickit

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (1)

This adorable little foxPokémon is encountered very early inPokémon Sword and Shield, alongside other notably cutePokémon new to the series. This made it even more difficult for players todecide which cuties to include in their parties.

Nickit lives up to its name and is known for stealing food from otherPokémon, it is able to move silently and covers its tracks with its tail. Additionally, thisPokémon has the potential to have the Run Away ability, ensuring that players can flee from battles.

14 Alcremie

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (2)

Not only is Alcremie a very cute Pokémon design that infuses a dessert with the complexity of a living creature, but it comes in various forms. Depending on what a trainer does during the evolutionary process, they can wind up with a variety of different Alcremie.

There are 9 forms of Alcremie with 7 different variants of each form, which means that there are 63 different ways an Alcremie can look upon evolution. The reason it's not higher on the list is that the Pokédex mentions some weird things in regards to trainers eating the cream Alcremie produces.

13 Dreepy

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (3)

Dreepy is a dragon/ghost Pokémon that players quickly fell in love with and it solidified itself as a firm fan-favorite. When Pokémon Sword and Shield first released, these little guys were so popular that they practically had a monopoly on surprise trades and their evolved forms were often found paired up with players in raids.

It's not hard to see how this adorable little ghostly dragon managed to win the hearts of players all over the world, and it remains a popular choice even after the many months since the game first released.

12 Snom

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (4)

Snom is arguably the cutest ice-type Pokémon that's ever existing. This little creature also happens to be the type of Pokémon that evolves based on its friendship level with the trainer who owns it. One look at this tiny guy will be enough to persuade you to have it by your side for the rest of your life.

RELATED:

If you're familiar with the game Hollow Knight, Snom might come across as a possible non-playable character from that game as its head and eyes share a similar art and design style of those found in Team Cherry's breakout platforming hit.

11 Sinistea

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (5)

Pokémon Sword and Shieldtakes a lot of inspiration from the English culture and country, so it didn't come as a surprise to fans when one of thePokémon was based on a teacup (it even evolves into a teapot form too).

This little ghostly cup with its cute face is like something you'd find in Beauty and the Beast. Despite being a ghost type, it's absolutely adorable and soon found its way into the fandom's hall of favorites, with many players spending hours of their time hunting down the authentic version, rather than settling for the counterfeit.

10 Cufant

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (6)

For a while, fans have wondered when Pokémon would reveal new elephant-inspired Pokémon. The only ones the series has ever really had were Donphan and Phanpy, with the former reading much more like a boar than an elephant.

With the introduction of the Galar region, fans got to meet Cufant and its evolution Copperajah. Cufant's final form may not be as welcoming or adorable as it is, but it does manage to feel like an elephant. Its shiny form happens to be bright yellow, making it even more desirable.

9 Skwovet

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (7)

Ever since the initial games that took place in the Kanto region, GameFreak and The Pokémon Company have done a better job at making the small mammal evolutionary line you encounter early in the game a lot cuter and approachable. They've come a long way since the days of Rattata and Raticate.

RELATED:

Skwovet is the early tiny mammal you encounter in the Galar region and is as cute as you'd like a squirrel Pokémon to be. Its appearance on the anime puts its never-ending appetite on display, which foreshadows its plump and cuddly final evolution.

8 Morpeko

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (8)

Morpeko is probably best known for being one of Marnie'sPokémon in Sword and Shield. Many players became desperate to find a Morpeko of their own after they first encountered the gothic punky girl NPC as part of the story content.

This littlePokémon has a bit of a Jekyll and Hyde personality, with its form and temperament changing when it goes into Hangry mode. Regardless of whether its purple and angry or all smiles, this electric/darkPokémon is very adorable.

7 Grookey

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (9)

When it comes to the starters in any new set of Pokémon games, it's all about preference. Grookey is a cute little simian that has a natural connection to music which it becomes more acquainted with as it evolves and grows.

It's not higher on the list because it doesn't come across as endearing as the other two starters, though it's not as sad as Sobble, or possibly mischievous as Scorbunny could be. Baby simians are cute, but it's hard for them to compete when human babies will always get the edge when it comes to the perspective of humans.

6 Wooloo

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (10)

Wooloo may not be the first sheep pokémon, but there shouldn't be an argument as to whether it's the cutest. Mareep is a fine pokémon design, but compared to Wooloo's bulbous body and shining white wool, it doesn't have a chance.

Whoever came up with the design of Wooloo did a great job at making a pokémon who likely won't be used in battle, super sought-after. The shiny form of Wooloo is also irresistibly cute as it trades its blackface and white wool for the inverse, with its gray braids on either side of its head remaining the same color.

5 Scorbunny

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (11)

On top of coming in at #4 for most adorable Pokémon native to the Galar region, Scorbunny also has the most consistent design throughout its evolutionary line. At a passing glance, it seems to just be a rabbit with red and orange accents, but the subtle design details bring it all together.

The band-aid-like marking above its nose makes it feel like a creature that needs to be nurtured, and its thick whisker-like cheek fur makes it feel a lot more child-like. It also managed to make quite an impression with fans when it appeared on the anime.

4 Hattrem

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (12)

The easiest way to design something cute is to make it extremely small and pair it with something that can provide a scale for how small the thing you designed is in relation to the bigger object. Hattrem is a pokémon that was likely designed this way and is overloaded with adorable vibes.

This little pink creature sports a giant-sized hat like object on its head that has it floating with its legs unable to touch the ground. Its final evolution gives off strong witch vibes, but Hattrem looks like a little kid wearing their parent's clothing.

3 Sobble

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (13)

Pokémon is a franchise directed at kids but has a large demographic of 20-plus-year-olds who've grown alongside the franchise. Sobble is a sad little creature who reflects a lot of the self-deprecating humor millennials and gen-z people relate with.

RELATED: Pokémon: The 10 Most Emotionally Driven Pokémon, Ranked

The moment Sobble was revealed as this weeping creature who seems to live an existence full of fear and anxiety is super relatable and thus caught on with social media. Sobble's evolutions make the creature less and less desirable, so trainers better cherish the little time they have with the sad amphibian.

2 Kubfu

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (14)

The most noteworthy addition that came toPokémon Sword and Shieldfrom the Isle of Armor expansion content is undoubtedly the absolutely adorable newPokémon, Kubfu. Everything about thisPokémon is cute, especially whenplayers get to see how shy and endearing his personality is.

This cute little karate-loving bear is given to players as part of the new story content and can evolve into one of two different forms, depending on the choice of which tower the player decides to tackle.

1 Yamper

Pokémon: Ranking The 15 MostAdorablePokémon From Sword & Shield (15)

It seems that with every generation of new games, trainers find a new candidate for the everstone. Yamper is said candidate for the 8th generation as its base form is an adorable yellow corgi who evolves into a less appealing dog that just so happens to be electric-typed. If you thought this little puppy was cute in the game, you should take a look at how much cuter it became during its appearance in the anime.

People love puppies, and people love Pokémon. Putting the two of those things together always results in something shockingly adorable.
