Is anything missable in NieR automata? ›

Almost nothing is missable. You unlock a chapter select after your third playthrough and can redo sidequests you missed.

The only ending it's possible to miss is Y. If you want to know how to make sure you don't miss it: During part of the fight, a countdown appears. In order to get Ending Y, you have to let the countdown finish; if you kill the boss before then, you can't fight it again and so can't get that ending.

How To Get All Main Endings In Nier: Automata. Endings A through E are known as the main endings of the game and require completing the main story at least three times.

The game gives you two choices and one of them is an ending, simple. It's missable because if you save after beating him, you can never try to get it again (On that save file).

The code is only able to be used after defeating the prologue boss, Marx. After talking to 9S, you'll need to place 2B between two sets of barrels in the empty boss room. While holding down R2 on the controller, you'll need to press up, down, up, right, left, square, circle, triangle, and cross — in that order.

You can't switch to 2B, for now you'll have to play as 9S and it's a part of the game which you can't skip, especially since the game(and story) isn't over yet and many important things will happen during 9S's route.

The wiki says the following: The kanji used to write "YoRHa" in Japanese (寄葉) means "passing leaf." According to Yoko Taro, the unusual capitalization in "YoRHa" is meaningful, unlike the capitalization of NieR which was done simply to make the logo look more interesting.

How long does NieR:Automata take to 100%? ›

When focusing on the main objectives, NieR: Automata is about 21 Hours in length. If you're a gamer that strives to see all aspects of the game, you are likely to spend around 61 Hours to obtain 100% completion.

Nier automata has 26 “endings”, 5 of which are considered most canonical, endings A, B, C, D, and E. Endings A and B are halfway points moreso than full endings, the game does stop there and bring you back to the menu so you can do a new play through once you've seen them.
